DJ Competition ALERT: Movida Corona

It’s not as far as you think. Let’s think positive: you register, Corona calls you to confirm your participation in the contest, you get through the local Play-Offs, you’re chosen as the number 1 DJ in your country in the National Final, travel to Stockholm and pass the quarter finals, shine in the semi-finals and win the Grand Finale.
That would be where Movida Corona 2012 ends and your new life and desired career as a professional DJ begins.

If you win the National Final in your country, you will travel to the Stockholm Grand Finale with a friend for free.

If you’re a runner-up in the Grand Finale, you will win a trip to the Miami Ultra Music Festival.

If you win the Grand Finale, you will become the official DJ for the Movida Corona 2013 Tour, which will travel through various European countries, you will be represented by Pacha and will collaborate in the making of Pacha Recordings.

Why the Hell Do We Have Daylight Savings Time?

All that I know is that I hate it... Some states in USA don't even observe it, sadly my state does..

Excerpt from http://www.webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/c.html
"Idea of Daylight Saving Time
The idea of daylight saving was first conceived by Benjamin Franklin (portrait at right) during his sojourn as an American delegate in Paris in 1784, in an essay, "An Economical Project." Read more about Franklin's essay.
Some of Franklin's friends, inventors of a new kind of oil lamp, were so taken by the scheme that they continued corresponding with Franklin even after he returned to America.
The idea was first advocated seriously by London builder William Willett (1857-1915) in the pamphlet, "Waste of Daylight" (1907), that proposed advancing clocks 20 minutes on each of four Sundays in April, and retarding them by the same amount on four Sundays in September. As he was taking an early morning a ride through Petts Wood, near Croydon, Willett was struck by the fact that the blinds of nearby houses were closed, even though the sun was fully risen. When questioned as to why he didn't simply get up an hour earlier, Willett replied with typical British humor, "What?" In his pamphlet "The Waste of Daylight" he wrote:
"Everyone appreciates the long, light evenings. Everyone laments their shortage as Autumn approaches; and everyone has given utterance to regret that the clear, bright light of an early morning during Spring and Summer months is so seldom seen or used."
Thanks Benjamin, but I'm a creature of the night..
